Niche service

The graph shown is an actual example of a previous achievement of mine.

I don't have any vested interests in any particular company or provider.

I offer impartial recommendations.
• General consultations
• Solar and battery consultations
• Which electricity provider is the cheapest? (I have a spreadsheet calculator, and it depends if you have battery storage or not)
• Solar export detection for electric hot water (Catch Power and various methods offered) if you don't have a battery, or a timer (with memory battery backup) if you do have a battery.
Air Conditioners:
Niche service
I do quote / charge more for air conditioners because I have premium options available. You get what you pay for.
If you need just a basic installation, anyone can do those. My availability depends on how busy I am.

Need a quote?

The photos show you an example of how to send photos for a free online quote. Also send your address - I may be able to use information from Google Maps and the Real Estate website to determine installation needs.

"But there's someone who can do it cheaper":
Go for gold (at your own risk). From the stories I hear, they usually block you when you need warranty, then it ends up costing you a fortune to get someone out at the last minute to fix it.
I may be able to offer flexible payment options.

Brands:
Based on my opinions and teardowns, though hese keep changing as manufacturers keep changing their products.

They all have a 5 year warranty and all (legal in QLD anyway) use R32 refrigerant gas, when more energy efficient options are available.
Why spend any more than you have to, especially when they now program the machines to reject energy efficient gas?

Kogan are the cheapest. I can make them geckoproof if you need.
Some Hisense models are a bit more and come with geckoproofing.
Some people say Mitsubishi - there's several Mitsubishi variants.

I offer ducted air conditioning also.
Fridges:
Not sure which fridge to buy?
I've crunched the numbers so you don't have to. For a small donation, I'm happy to provide consultation.
The spreadsheet is out of date, if you're looking for information from it.

Bought a new fridge?
I offer a preventative maintenance service which can prolong the life of your fridge well past its warranty period. Manufacturers put the gas in the refrigerant circuit and then crimp off the copper tail, they don't solder it, then the fridge loses its gas after a few years. Theoretically they shouldn't lose their gas.
